Articol publicat in "Evenimentul Zilei" Applying the Powder by Bianca Brad Now that the base has been provided by the foundation, corrector and by “balancing” the proportions (using the contours), we can get to the next stage, namely applying the powder. The powder should not be absent from the makeup kit. It’s role is to protect, remove the unpleasant glow, making the skin look mat and soft. It also has the less known role of “fixing” the makeup. Powder can be applied with the help of a fluff or of a “fluffier” brush than the one used with the blusher. In case you use the fluff, the movement should not be “brushing” but rolling and light padding. It is very important that before applying the powder you check that the face is not moist, otherwise the powder will “stick”, and very unaesthetic patches will appear. The layer of powder should be thin in order to avoid the mask (or “wall plaster”) effect.
