I have recently met a girl with the longest, blackest and the most curled eyelashes ever – without wearing any mascara! This is very rare. There are also a lot of men you can envy for their eyelashes. Us, women, are lucky that we have mascara. Whether the eyelashes are too short, too blond, too thin or too straight is no longer a problem. With a little skill and the right “tools” one can obtain long, thick and curled eyelashes. Mascara was first made by a London perfumer, Rimmel, hence the name (the Romanian word for mascara is “rimel”). Compact mascara was used for a long time, but now we use the liquid one. If you don’t want to use mascara you can have your eyelashes dyed. In any case, if you apply makeup to your eyes it is compulsory that you use mascara, too. Also, if you prefer a more natural look, you shouldn’t avoid using mascara, because it emphasizes the eyes. You have certainly noticed how much the eyes are embellished when the eyelashes are curled. In order to obtain them one should use a special tool designed for the purpose. I have kept away from this tool a long time because I thought it was very complicated and even … dangerous!
